The Tudor family symbol is a red and white rose. This is because when Henry VII married Elizabeth of York, the Lancasters and the Yorks became united. The red rose was the symbol of the Lancasters and the white rose was the symbol of the Yorks. When they were combined they formed this symbol, and the Tudor family kept it. |
